The graduate students in the College of Engineering and School of Biomedical Engineering Science, and Health Systems created the Engineering Graduate Association (EGA, formerly GSRC) to enhance Engineering Graduate students’ social and academic pursuits at Drexel, represent their needs, and work to improve their general welfare. Engineering and Research are multidisciplinary, and EGA encourages graduate student interaction for the purposes of increasing relations between departments and developing each individual’s perpectives. EGA also sponsors extracurricular activities that aim to increase each student’s well-roundedness and address topics not covered in graduate coursework through events such as Fellowship, Industry vs. Academia, or Thesis-writing seminars. |
