Departmental Philosophy
Technology Education emphasizes project/product oriented instruction,
problem solving and technology based instruction. This philosophy will
prepare students for a better understanding of our technology-based society.
Technology Education courses are designed to help students understand
industry and technology. They will provide career information in
engineering, manufacturing, communications, materials processing, computer
systems, networking, multimedia, and programming. Course offerings in
the technology education department provide a great opportunity for students
to fulfill the technology component of the graduation project.
