Welcome to myRET Page
RET stands for Research Experience for Teachers.

The RET experience has been one of the most rewarding activities that I have participated in.

Why?
The reason is three fold. I met fellow teachers who are so encouraging. They set the bar high. We all spent our summer working to find innovative ways to reach out students and help improve their abilities to understand math and science. We talk about what we can bring back to the classroom. More importantly, our forum is always open to suggestions. Everyone has shown a willingness to provide encouragement, ideas, and mentoring opportunities. Can I really say more about my fellow RET teachers?

The second reason why this experience has been so rewarding is because Drexel's College of Engineering has provided us with the opportunity collaborate with researchers who are willing to extend their knowledge, facilities, and outreach opportunities to us and our students. It is a win-win-win situation. RET teachers benefit due to their exposure to ground breaking reasearch. Our students gain from our collaborations and networking experiences. Finally, Drexel University benefits by attracting our students to their programs.

Additionally, the RET support staff has ensured that our experience is educational, fun and productive. Thanks Joanne!

What can you Learn from myRET page?
I incorporate information about the chemistry curriculum, but I focuse on my research experience. My research page delivers information about the project that I worked on and the research group that I've worked with. Additionally, you will find a link about me. There you will find several ways to contact me and see me playing frisbee wear one of the best looking T's out there.

I hope to continue updating this page with my experiences in the classroom; specifically, with how I was able to use my research experience to the benefits of my student's learning.

I encourage your to explore and enjoy this page!

Thanks Drexel and NSF
