I graduated from Mansfield St. University in 1980 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Mentally Gifted education . I recieved my master's degree from LaSalle college in 1990 . My area of concentration was Bilingual / Bicultural Studies in Carribean Studies (Spanish) .

In the summer of 2006 I was a part of the MSP group here at Drexel University . The groups' focus was to align a partnership between Drexel and the School District of Philadelphia in order to promote Mathematics and Science using the Core Curriculum . The experience was very beneficial and rewarding .

Why RET ?

The MSP summer experience prompted me to apply for the 2007 RET program . This program allows area educators a chance to work alongside a principle investigator and his colleagues Some of the colleagues maybe graduate students , post doctoral students , or canddidates for their Ph.D. My principle investigator was Min Juhn Kim. I've also had the honor to work with my graduate mentors , Rafael Mulero and Alejandro Moraga . Both have been instrumental in providing exceptional lab experiences in fielding my questions and sparking many curiosities about the engineering program .
