The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) invites student participants in the 2007 Greater Philadelphia Sea Perch Challenge to write an essay describing what they learned about Naval Engineering!  Click here for more information.

**New Award for 2007**
Navy Contract Award
New award for the 2007 competition that is modeled after the Navy contract award process.  Navy contracts take into account the presentation of the engineering design as well as the level of actual performance.  Scoring for this award is based on the average scores from the Team Presentation and Vehicle Performance.  There will be separate Middle School & High School/Community College Awards.   This award will be a $100 cash prize for the teams and the winning teams will be asked to have their Sea Perch on display for the year.
