A serendipitous discovery by researchers at Drexel University’s College of Engineering could be the key to unlocking hydrogen’s potential as the clean fuel of the future.
Renewable Energy and Power
An innovative self-heating concrete developed in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering could eliminate the need for shoveling and salting sidewalks and roads during winter.
The new research, published in ACS Applied Nano Materials, demonstrates that MXenes can transfer their tunability and properties to other materials, specifically oxides used in
energy storage.
The project, “Howard/Drexel University Partnership to Foster Diverse Leadership in Clean and Just Energy Transition,” brings together students and faculty from multiple colleges at both institutions.
